Description
This clearly-written, yet rigorous text provides a synthesis of mathematics and economic applications. Each new mathematical concept is introduced to solve a specific real-world economic problem. A broad scope of applications are presented. The text also includes such important topics as duality theory, the Lancastrian model, the Von Neumann model, resource depletion, and game theory.
