内容説明
This work aims to be an in-depth study of the traits that distinguish two equally important business elites: independent entrepreneurs, such as Eddy Shah and Gerald Ronson; and the new breed of corporate "intrapreneurs" who head such firms as W.H. Smith and Cadbury Schweppes. Based on interviews with 40 business leaders, a set of profiles is presented which shows the social origins, childhood influences, education and work ethic which have helped shape these notable people. It is clear that a different pattern emerges in the development of the entrepreneurs from that of the "intrapreneurs". This finding offers insight into the different forces that shape modern leaders of business, both inside and outside the corporation. This study is designed for practising managers and students of management and entrepreneurship.
