Description
Transputers play a very important role in the field of massive parallel computation. With their enormous and fast growing applications in diverse areas, they have already become a highly international area of study. Papers in this volume represent a wide spectrum of interests ranging from fundamental theories to practical systems in the field of parallel processing based on Trasnputer and Occam. Issues covered include control systems, image processing, frameworks for implementation and networks using virtual channels, interconnection topologies and virtual link mechanism.
