MAK and BAT values are used for the risk assessment of hazardous chemical compounds in the workplace. This booklet contains a list of about 500 chemical compounds which are identified as carcinogens, germ cell mutagens, embryotoxicants or sensitizing substances.
目次
MAK values (Maximum Concentrations at the Workplace) provide a basis for the judgement of the toxic potential of chemical compounds to which people are exposed at work. The list classifies over 500 chemical compounds as being carcinogen, embryotoxic or germ cell mutagen. Special chapters deal with MAK values and pregnancy, sensitizing substances and inorganic fibrous dust particles.
