Ethics in Obstetrics and Gynecology is a unique addition to the literature in both biomedical ethics and obstetrics and gynaecology. It offers a comprehensive and clinically practical approach to ethics in the everyday practice of obstetrics and gynaecology, including abortion, prenatal diagnosis, and HIV infection. The issues involved in making decisions in many of these areas are a potential source of conflict between the physician and the patient and this book presents preventive and management strategies for dealing with these situations.
