内容説明
In this work, Hugh Emy analyzes what is happening to Australia's economy and society. "Australia in Crisis" calls into question the suitability of free market and level playing-field approaches. Emy argues that the whole economic debate has become dangerously over-simplified and that what is needed is an integration of cultural, social and economic concerns. Emy examines evidence of economic decline in the past 25 years; looks at what divides the major parties; assesses the Labour decade; and offers some new answers and a programme for government, business and society as a whole. Hugh Emy is the author of a number of politics texts including "Australian Politics" and "Realities in Conflict".
