Description
This book describes the influence of the political and social changes that took place in the 12th century on the works of art of the period and the function and value ascribed to those works. It thus analyzes the reliefs of the original Porta Romana in Milan and the typanum relief of the Benedictine abbey San Zeno in Verona.
