Description
This revised edition provides an in-depth analysis of the historical, political and social aspects of the concept of revolution through a series of country case studies. The material on Bohemia, England, France, Russia, Turkey and China has been revised and updated. This edition also includes two case studies from the 20th century: Iran and Mexico. It features a new topology of revolutions in the wake of the events of 1989-91 which challenged the traditional understanding of the term revolution. This edition includes a full bibliography and index.
