Description and Table of Contents

Description

A brave attempt at studying Phoenician colonization from an environmental standpoint. Excavations at the tell of Castillo de Dona Blanca included study of animal and fish bones, moluscs and shellfish. A final chapter puts the biological evidence in a wider context and concludes that this kind of evidence on its own is better applied to smaller, local questions.
