Description
This biography tells about England's greatest film mogul, Alexander Korda, and his two brothers. There are stories about Churchill, Brendan Bracken, Olivier, Vivien Leigh, Merle Oberon and the whole of the film world in the 30s, 40s and 50s. Michael Korda, son of Vincent Korda, traces the lives of the three brothers from acute poverty in Hungary through Europe to Hollywood and England and in doing so, provides an account of his own childhood surrounded by the rich and exotic.
