Description
Reaction to the extent of child abuse has brought it to the forefront of public concern. Significant moves are now being made towards establishing adequate legislature and guidelines for both preventative practice and practical solutions which are beneficial to child, family and community alike. This book, based on a conference organized by Children in Scotland and the National Children's Bureau provides an examination of the findings of the inquiry in the context of other major reports and legislature, including the findings of the Cleveland Inquiry.
