内容説明

A repository can be thought of as a filter or bridge between two distinct database management systems (DBMS) - relational or object-oriented. Although a repository is a cost-effective and time-saving device, the time and money that a company must invest in implementing it can be quite extensive. This book introduces a practical explanation to the repository concept. It explains the purpose of repositories and what they can do to improve corporate data management. Case studies used throughout the text demonstrate both the successes and failures that occur when organizing, researching, and implementing a repository.
