Description and Table of Contents
Description
Concentrating on the theory, applications and design of power drives, motors, electronics and devices, the new edition of this text now contains an introductory chapter to provide a review of basic electrical and magnetic circuit concepts, expanded discussions of the computer simulation of power electronics, and commonly-used simulation packages such as SPICE, MATLAB and EMTP. The book also includes many examples based on simulation packages PSpice and MATLAB, and a significantly expanded set of end-of-chapter problems for students.
