内容説明

Feminist art and cultural theory has enlivened contemporary art debate now for two decades. "Dissonance" draws together both younger and more experienced scholars and artists who have produced some of the most significant developments in contemporary art and cultural politics to generate a sense of shared purpose in theoretical innovation. Its thematic organization resists conventional media distinctions and a useful chronology and bibliography ensure an accessible and comprehensive introduction to contemporary women's art. "Dissonance" will appeal to students and younger readers and informed audiences. Catriona Moore, art historian and critic, lectures in fine arts at the University of Sydney, Australia.
