内容説明
This volume from the Women's Studies Network debates the challenges which face feminism and women's studies in the 1990s. It considers feminist politics and action with reference to issues such as women's movements in Britain, and women's position/politics in and in relation to Ireland. It supplies critiques of heterosexuality and monogamy, and explores the politics of women's cultural production. The essays show that feminist action is also crucial in the context of issues which concern differences between women, race, nationality, sexuality as well as disability.
