内容説明

This work dealing with expansion, trade and industry, provides facsimile documents from the Public Records Office. It is intended to support the teaching of the National Curriculum core unit, "Expansion, Trade and Industry". The book is designed for the use at Year 9 of NC History, and some of the documents should also be useful for Key Stage 4 and for A Level syllabuses. The book contains over 70 photocopiable pages of documents and questions selected by practising teachers. The material accesses the full range of Attainment Targets with particular emphasis on AT1 strand c and ATs 2 and 3. The design of the book is flexible, to enable its use alongside any course which pupils may be following. The approach is enquiry-based and concentrates on the key questions raised by the focus statement for the Programme of Study. The book in general is suitable for homework and class-based work, and provides opportunities for IT work and cross-curricular work.
