This volume contains the proceedings of the twentieth annual conference of the Fordham Corporate Law Institute, New York, which was held on 21 and 22 October, 1993. Like in previous years this conference was dedicated to developments in US and EC Antitrust and Trade Law. Among the topics that are treated in this year's edition: US international antitrust enforcement, competition policy in Venezuela, the EC merger regulation, the Spanish antitrust authorities. In addition attention is paid to general issues such as continuity and change in antitrust enforcement which is covered in the first chapter, written by Anne K. Bingaman responsible for antitrust enforcement in the Clinton Administration. Numerous trends, issues and cases of considerable interest to those professionally or academically involved in Antitrust and Trade Law are also included.
