内容説明
The first edition of Industrial Relations combined original, up-to-date evidence with expert comment and analysis. For the second edition, this successful approach has been maintained, while the content has been completely revised and updated. Each of the chapters is written by an acknowledged expert in the field and provides a strong argument on a particular topic. At the same time key issues, such as the coherence of efforts to reform industrial relations and the potential different routes of development, run through many chapters. The second edition pays particular attention to the effects of European and international developments on British industrial relations. There are two new chapters: the first examines the role of multinational companies in changing the British employment relationship; the second looks at the individualization of the employment relationship, building on the book's existing analysis of the experience of work from an employee point of view.
