内容説明

Geared toward students without advanced mathematics skills, this text examines all aspects of statistical analysis that are commonly used in the various professions and disciplines of kinesiology and leisure studies/recreation. It uses examples exclusively from kinesiology and related fields to present statistical concepts and procedures, and leads readers through a series of statistical concepts that build logically on one another. The simplified symbols used for the formulas let students concentrate on the concepts and their meanings rather than on confusing details and notations. A flowchart helps students determine the correct statistical procedure for the data they want to analyze. Sample problems at the end of each chapter give students an opportunity to test their knowledge.
