Description
This is the fourth and final volume in the series "Security Challenges for Japan and Europe in a Post-Cold War World", a joint project on Japanese-European security concerns developed by the Royal Institute in London and the Institute for International Policy Studies (formerly the International Institute for Global Peace) in Tokyo. In a series which analyzes common security interests, involving policy-makers, academics, political leaders, and military personnel from Japan and Western Europe, this book covers such topics as the role of a reformed United Nations in maintaining global order; the effects of a struggling Russia; the significance of a growing China; and US security policy.
