Description
The 13th-century chronicle of the crusading adventures of Godfreyde Bouillon is here attributed to Alfonso X the Wise. In her pioneer study Professor Gonzalez discusses the historical basis of the chronicle and treats it as an integrated whole, complementing her approach with an evaluation of the Conquista in the context of the whole tradition of Spanish chivalresque literature.
