Description and Table of Contents

Description

This book sets out - as did the first edition of the book - to give a concise but precise guide to the more common points of practice and procedure in matrimonial causes. As with subsequent editions, it continues this original concept while providing more information to guide the practitioner through the variety of procedures involved. This edition if fully updated to reflect recent changes in the law and practice: by far the greatest change in family law has been the Children Act 1989. The effect of this Act, together with the bringing into force of parts of the Matrimonial and Family Proceedings Act 1984, have necessitated much revision and rewriting. The effects of the Family Proceedings (Remuneration) Regulations 1991 have all been incorporated in the text.
