In this book the aim was to bring together some of the most advanced thinking and trends in medical libraries. Designed to have an international scope, and in order to set the stage for the next generation of virtual medical libraries, a group of cases was compiled on innovative and unique projects. The chapters cover key areas of concern such as the impact of technology - from networks and document delivery to extended systems and databases. The book includes advances in corporate, hospital, society and public libraries and a section on computer training laboratories and medical education software.
