内容説明

The general theme of this book is decision research and its application, primarily from a psychological perspective, but representing a broad spectrum including economics, computer science, operations research and also social science. The volume reflects a distinct shift over time from the classical maximization of Subjective Expected Utility (SEU) paradigm to a wide array of theoretical and empirical aspects of descriptive psychological decision research. The newer approaches include prospect theory and its implications for personal spending and saving decisions (mental accounting), axiomatic generalization such as rank dependent expected utility theories and an extension of decision field theory to multi-attribute problems. Other important topics of the book are: (1) the cognitive presentation of relevant knowledge for expert systems involving uncertainty and (2) weighting attributes in multi-attribute decision-making.
