Description
This work recognizes the human element in organization. In describing the relations and actions which constitute every organization, the authors assess the management issues and problems which invariably result. They further examine how the transition from small to large can be achieved, as well as reviewing recent attempts to recreate entrepreneurial forms of organization in the context of large complex ones. Finally it illustrates the contrasting fortunes of various organizations in their attempt to adapt to the new economic and social conditions of the 1990s.
