A fully-illustrated academic catalogue, this volume brings together the major collections of Viking gold and silver non-numismatic material found in Scotland, now in the National Museums of Scotland, other Scottish museums and the British Museum. Both single finds and hoards are covered; among others, the Skaill and Burray hoards, which have never before been described and illustrated in full. This work should provide a useful contribution to the understanding of Viking culture.
