内容説明
This volume contains new and advanced ideas in soil dynamics and earthquake engineering in theory and practice, and also covers the excitation and propagation of dynamic waves in the ground, determination of dynamic properties of soils and rocks, and behaviour of structures under dynamic loading. The combined efforts of geophysics, soil, rock and structural dynamics research has aided the reduction of risks to people and structures in civil and mining engineering. This text contains the proceedings of the seventh International Conference on Soil Dynamics and Earthquake Engineering, held in Crete during May 1995.
