This work describes the different types of professionals who instruct young people in initial vocational training and presents the training facilities provide for the continuing and further training of these groups. The first volume concentrated on Germany, Spain, France and the UK. This volume, on Italy, Ireland and portugal, uses the same methodology in order to facilitate comparison. It is intended to be a practical tool for the mobility of teachers within the European Union, to give them a better understanding of the modes of training, encouraging joint projects or exchanges between professionals of different countries.
