内容説明
This book looks at what is known about the social and economic factors affecting the future supply of family care for older people. Although the review focuses on the aspect of supply, this has to be placed in the context of the future demand for such care. The extent to which these are in balance has important implications for the demand for formal health and social care services. If the supply reduces, particularly at a time of increasing demand, there are likely to be major problems in meeting the needs of older people. The book provides detailed and comprehensive evidence on family care for older people.
