Description and Table of Contents

Description

The title of this work reflects the broad interpretation of the field of Dutch Studies. More than half of the twenty-five articles presented here focus on traditional topics such as Dutch and Flemish literature, Dutch linguistics, Dutch history, and Dutch art history. A number of papers go beyond the Low Countries, to places such as America, Britain, Canada, Indonesia, and South Africa. And some reinterpret the traditional subjects of Dutch art and historiography, Anglo-Dutch and American relations, and literature and language. Co-published with the American Association for Netherlandic Studies.
