Description
The characteristic of the Citterio/Dwan team lies in their ability to approach creative problems in a holistic manner, bringing together a blend of interior design, design and architecture. This results in a synthesis of functionality and an Italian sense of style. This monograph documents ten years of their work since the mid-1980s, up to projects such as the residential and commercial development in Seregno, Milan, the Vitra furniture factory in Neuenburg (Germany), the Esprit headquarters in Milan, the experimental building in Kumamoto City which brings together Japanese and Western styles of living, three dwelling houses in Lombardy, the interior design, and furnishing for Fausto Santini and Esprit in Milan, Rome, Paris, Amsterdam and Antwerp. In the design section, the most recent innovations of Citterio/Dwan in office furnishings, lighting systems, hospital furniture, and household goods are presented
