Description
The contributors to this book have provided a wide tapestry of interacting frameworks for major areas of preventive psychiatry, as well as conceptual underpinnings. The presentations put forward will enhance the knowledge and provide a clinical and research base for further prevention in the field of mental health, both in public health and health service contexts. Many authorities and people will have to be mobilized if prevention of mental disorders is to become a reality. This book is another step in rallying forces and convincing the own profession to become leaders in the process and to arm them with evidence about what is possible, so as to act themselves and inspire others.
