Description and Table of Contents
Description
This book uses case histories to illustrate the relevance of the knowledge taught in the core textbook. The book consists of 50 case studies, each approximately 250 to 350 words long and followed by 4 to 5 questions with answers. The book is divided into 14 sections, following the same chapter headings used in section three of the textbook. The aim is to include each major disease mentioned in the textbook. The book can stand on its own, as each case is complete with full answers to the questions, but since the cases do refer to the textbook, its main role is to complement and support the textbook, supplying clinical cases written specifically for this level of readership.
