Description
"Tumor-Associated Leukocytes" discusses leukocyte infiltration of neoplastic tissue. It also reviews the pathology and molecular mechanisms of leukocyte infiltration of tumours. Since tumour associated leukocytes are strategically located at the interface-between tumour and host, they represent targets for therapeutic intervention. Current therapeutic strategies and future prospects, including targeted cytokine immunotherapy, gene therapy and adoptive transfer of effector cell, are presented.
