Description
This text addreses the interface of tourism and environmental sustainability. It seeks to present new advances in the methodology for evaluating conflicts between tourist development in many countires, and the constraints set by environmental conditions. Much attention is paid to the environment as an opportunity for balanced tourist development. Besides a reflective nature, the text has also an applied character as various case studies from different countries are presented to illustrate the potential offered by various assessment approaches.
