内容説明

With the advent of HIV and AIDS, the family doctor - now more than ever - has a crucial role to play in coping with drug problems in the community. Unfortunately, most GPs have little or no training in this field. In 1983 the Institute for the Study of Drug Dependence (SDD) published the widely acclaimed booklet "Drug Addiction and Polydrug Abuse: the Role of the General Practitioner" by Dr Banks and Dr Waller. Now the two authors have produced this first full-length book on drug misuse specifically written for GPs covering all aspects of the subject.
