Description
This volume presents the main end product of the first phase of ATIM: the Accompanying Measure on Assessment of Information Technologies in Medicine in the AIM telematics programme. It provides guidelines which may help users assess the effects of new and existing information technologies for health care and interpreting assessment reports. The book also aims to provide support in validation processes, which will take place in the Telematics Programme of the Fourth Framework Programme. This text combines methodological background information with practical examples from various AIM projects. It is addressed to users and potential users of IT and people who are involved in the evaluation and assessment processes.
