The British Outdoor Amenities Guide 1994, which has been acquired from John S. Turner & Assodates, is a comprehensive and up-to-date guide of public and private sector outdoor amenity provision. Part of the Longman Leisure Series, The British Outdoor Amenities Guide 1994 is one of four leisure guides providing valuable information to each sector of the leisure industry they serve. It lists all local authority personnel in outdoor provision, provides a new listing of outdoor centres, providers and suppliers, includes a comprehensive buyers guide with over 200 categories and is fully indexed and cross referenced. Local authority and county council amenities departments are listed by management, responsibilities, address details, services supplied and supply / maintenance requirements. Contents include: * information on local authority parks responsibilities * suppliers of services and products * education and training * glossaries of technical terms and brand names - a comprehensive buyers guide.
