Description
Since Kerala's surrounding geography kept it rather isolated, its many splendored arts continue to evolve. Kerala continues the oldest forms Sanskrit theater, ritual dances with blood sacrifices, masked and trance performances, and martial art techniques. In this society where every act is codified and every color symbolic, it takes a lifetime to understand the intricacies, meaning and sophistication of this culture.
