Description
The 13 essays by German-speaking feminist exegetes are concerned with the problem of anti-Jewish ways of reading the Christian Bible. In their treatment of sample texts they consider such subjects as law, violence and impurity, and offer suggestions for overcoming anti-Jewish ways of reading the text without underplaying the genuine difficulties inherent in the text.
