This text examines what is new to Windows 95, such as clinet-server communications, threading and multithreading, and 32-bit graphics. It also illustrates how these features can be used most effectively. The accompanying disk includes a source code for applications using the new features of Windows 95. There is a chapter on the Windows Sockets API, enabling the reader to write applications to access the Internet. Other features include compatability with 16-bit MS-DOS and Windows programs, and built-in support for networking protocols such as NetBEUI and TCP/IP.
