Description and Table of Contents
Description
Since the mid-1980s, there has been a world-wide explosion of new legislation on competition and antitrust, coupled with increased enforcement activity. This work, based on the 1994 proceedings of the Institute, explores the areas of antitrust/competition law that have grown the most in the last several years. Topics include: the revised Justice Department international antitrust guidelines; new directions in Japanese antitrust enforcement; state aids under EC competition law; the new EC block exemption on patent and knowhow licensing; and international arbitration of antitrust issues.
