内容説明
This presentation of methodologies for building research designs emphasizes the need for readers to be alert to the possibility of alternative explanations for the results. Studying the practical aspects of designing experiments, this book explains how to prepare and administer mail, telephone and face-to-face surveys, discusses role and game playing, considers computer simulations, and explores the issues of interviewer or wording bias and random error analysis. The book begins with an analysis of causality, then moves on to guidelines for creating experimental designs, alternatives to experimental designs and different survey methods. It concludes with a meta-analysis chapter.
