Description

In this work, the current status of understanding of central (thymic) and peripheral (non-thymic) immunologic tolerance is defined. Methods of production of cental and peripheral immunologic tolerance are described and analyzed. The nature of immunodeviation and its relation to immunologic tolerance and also the nature of neonatal tolerance to tolerance produced later in life are considered.
