Description and Table of Contents
Description
A combination of the work of students and faculty from the school of architecture at the University of Miami with a text by their professor Vincent Scully. The school is known for its drawings of architecture, urban planning and landscape design. The drawings are realistic, illustrating the natural and man-made environment, animals and objects, and plans for designing and re-inventing unbuilt and built cities. Miami's surrounding environment is apparent in the work of the students, and the influence of regional cultures, such as the Caribbean islands, Cuba and Central and South America is also evident.
