Description
This work is the outcome of a Construction Industry Research and Information Association (CIRIA) research project aimed at providing technical guidance to practising engineers on the use of vegetation as an engineering material, with particular reference to the UK construction industry both at home and overseas. The project was carried out under contract to CIRIA by Richards Moorehead & Laing Ltd, consulting engineers and environmental scientists, in association with Silsoe College and Geostructures Consulting.
