内容説明
The authors of this policy-oriented study are seeking a concept and practice of development that really integrates the needs of people, the economy, the environment and practical world of decision-making. The book argues that the alleviation of poverty and sustainable development are only likely if the idea of empowerment becomes a reality through legislation, education and government. It explores the multiple ways in which this could happen and the difficulties along the way.
