Description
This work focuses on the problems that the US and o ther countries around the world will be forced to confront as their populations age, and as increasing globalization reduces the power of individual countries' actions. These problems include threats to living standards - nationally and internationally -from rising deficits, and associated low savings rates - throughout the developed world. They also include the growing danger to future generations by the yoke of prior spending commitments built into their major entitlement programmes.
