Description
This text provides practical guidance on summary judgment and associated orders. It explains the principles involved and whether or not there is a good chance of success before examining in depth the procedure to pursue. Procedural tips are suggested to help avoid pitfalls and include procedural checklists, flowcharts, worked examples and specimen affidavits. The book's coverage includes: order 86, which is the Chancery version of specific performance; order 29, which deals with interim payments, for example in personal injury cases, where it is of immense help to a plaintiff to get some money; and practical advice on how to get into the right list.
