Description
This comprehensive introduction to diagnostic imaging is directed at fourth-year medical students and non-radiology junior housestaff. Problem-oriented in approach, the focus of the text is toward selecting the appropriate imaging modality for each organ system. Following an introduction covering current imaging techniques and basic physical principles of radiology, the book is divided into organ-oriented sections, with diagnostic imaging exercises to introduce organ-related pathology. Each section is further subdivided into chapters covering one or more specific organs. Common lesions are discussed thoroughly in an exercise format.
